I have always wanted to try bubble tea so when I was invited down to a bubble tea master class I was so excited to finally try what I have seen so many people rave about! Bubble Boba is in Coventry Fargo Village.
When we arrived, we all had a nose around the fun interior of Bubble Boba, and took a seat ready to start the Master Class.
Kristin took the class and she co-founded Bubble Boba back in 2015, Kristin was so so lovely, her passion about tea just shone through her you could tell she absolutely loves what she does and it was really refreshing to see. I was chuffed to hear we were the first people to try out this class and also this Bubble Boba in Coventry is the first in the UK to start holding classes which is amazing!! Think Hen dos, bridal showers, work dos! It’s going to be ace.
Firstly we sat down and watched a short video on how Tea was first discovered and the history behind it all, this was super interesting and we learnt some great facts! One is what the word BOBA stands for… google it kids!
Throughout the evening we got to try Bubble waffles, these looked amazing, each bubble of the waffle is filled with flavour, for example, the Oddles of Oreo Waffle is filled with chunks of Oreo biscuit, topped with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and an Oreo cookie. My favourite was either the Red Velvet Delight or the Craving Caramel which had salted caramel sauce! YASSSSSS
We tasted the 3 teas that are used as the bases in the drinks. One tasted just like English Tea, one was super Smokey and the 3rd was fresh as it had jasmine in it. It smelled amazing, I’m now hunting down jasmine candles!
We then got to watch another short video about how Bubble tea came about!
We tasted 3 of their specials on atm and they were so good! I loved the Green Apple and Honey Dew Melon thin shake Milkshake was so yummy!
We tried different flavoured pearls I chose the Melon flavour it’s mad how they pop in your mouth but also super yum and refreshing!
We watched a few more fun videos then it was our time to make the drinks! They have 3 new drinks coming on the 1st of April, Mini Egg Choc Chip Shake, Strawberry Fluff Shake, Banana Fluff shake.
I chose the Mini Egg Choc Chip, it was so fun to make and it tasted amazing!! We then got to make fruit tea! We took these home to drink.
Thank you so much to all the staff at Bubble Boba for having us!
