NEW BLOG FEATURE! | Reviewing children’s toys are they worth the money?!

Hello my loves, I am finally branching out into the world of children’s toys! Last year around Christmas I did gift guide ideas for children but I’ve never really shown you in-depth toys that are on trend and given my thoughts and opinions on whether they’re worth the money.

Children’s Toys!

There are so so many out there and knowing which ones your children are going to love can be a nightmare. Over the years my family have spent 100s on toys that really haven’t been all they said they would on the box, in the end, been a waste of money and the children haven’t been as interested in them then we had hoped, our grown out of them super quick!

Toys aren’t cheap!

Adverts on telly don’t always give you the full package either. I want to be able to help you choose a gift for your loved ones that you know they will love and get lots of happy times from.

I will be talking in depth on my blog and over on YouTube showing you the toys, how they work, what it is they do and how my two boys have played with them. Have they enjoyed them or have they been forgotten about?

Are they worth the money?

Along the way, I will have a couple of older children to help me with both older style toys designed towards girls and boys! So there should be something for everyone.

Bit of background on my two, Ethan is 6 and Liam is 3 they both love anything action-filled and exciting, they are super creative and love anything that they can engage with! Liam loves role play toys and make-believe. Ethan loves toys that have a cause and effect.

As parents, we are very neutral in what we buy the children. No toys are too girly or too boyish if we think the boys would like it then that’s what matters! I’m one of those people that can’t stand it when toy stores have the big pink girly section for “girls toys” or when toy packaging is designed towards a certain sex.

I will never forget Doc McStuffins.. both my boys loved that program yet all the toys were designed towards girls and on the “girl aisle” in shops.

Christmas is coming and I really hope this new feature on my blog helps you! Subscribe to my blog in the right-hand sidebar on this page, subscribe to youtube here and follow me on Instagram here to keep up to date when I post!

If there’s anything you would like us to try out for you please let me know! I would love to know your thoughts in the comments below!
